evacuating new systems

just wondering what you guys are doing when  evacuating  new systems   where your only evacuating the new line set and the new coil

are you evacuating  three time and purging with dry nitrogen . how long  are you taking on new systems  ?

one guy I know vacs for 15min 1st time  puts in about 2 lbs nitrogen waits an hour  vacs again 15 mins  does  nitrogen again  waits another hour vac again this time down to 500 m   

seem like a really long time to me on a fresh start up

I triple evacuate but i don't wait an hour with the nitrogen in it

I wouldn't triple evacuate unless I was repairing a contaminated system.  It's a little overkill on a new 410a system.  The last system I installed achieved a 95 micron evacuation.
