Charge:  Part III Provincial Offences Act summons for an offence under the Ontario College of Trades and Apprenticeship Act, 2009, sec. 4 – employing or otherwise engaging individual to engage in compulsory trade without a Certificate of Qualification (x2).

Summary: On September 10, 2015, Ontario College of Trades inspectors conducted interviews after receiving information that on June 23, 2015 unauthorized individuals performed compulsory work at New-Tec Tool Ltd., located at 5345 Brandan Lane, Oldcastle ON. The inspectors determined that one (1) individual was employed to perform the work of a refrigeration and air conditioning systems mechanic (313A) without proper qualifications, in particular, the individual did not hold a Certificate of Qualification and was not an apprentice in the trade working pursuant to a registered training agreement.

On April 13, 2017 Luciano PANNUNZIO was convicted of the charge and imposed a monetary fine, including a victim fine surcharge.
