High velocity vs low velocity

I doing a complete home reno, part of which is changing from radiators to forced air HVAC. was looking at high velocity HVAc as I didn't want large ducts running through some key areas. However with some recent changes in design that we've made, space for ducts is no longer an issue.  Should I still continue with high velocity in this case? Or move to low velocity? Why?

From a technician stand point, low velocity is better.  Less problems, more options on what to install.

In my opinion, hi velocity has one and only one advantage. It saves space. It saves a lot of space in exchange for headaches in the future.

Perhaps I'm biased as I fix them, I don't use them. But my personal experience is subpar
