Identifying gas flow direction?

Someone from TSSA told me that it is now code to mark the direction of gas flow on commercial gas pipe, when the piping goes through a wall.  I cannot find it in the code book.  Am I missing something?  Thanks.

I don't see anything in the B149.1-10 code or in any TSSA Order that says that.

Clause 6.17.1 is the only Clause regarding Identification of piping or tubing in a commercial building.

Clause 6.17.1
In every care or detention occupancy, commercial, industrial, and assembly building, piping or tubing
shall be identified by one of the following:
(a) the entire piping or tubing system shall be painted yellow;
(b) the piping or tubing system shall be provided with yellow banding that has a minimum width of 1 in
(25 mm); or
(c) the piping or tubing system shall be labelled or marked "GAS"* or "PROPANE"†, as applicable,
utilizing yellow labels or markings.
When identified in accordance with Item (b) or (c), the identification intervals shall not exceed 20 ft
(6 m).
*The equivalent French wording is "GAZ".
†The equivalent French wording is "PROPANE".

I found a reference to marking the direction of flow in the, TSSA Field Approval Code TSSA-FA-2012

5.2.9 The flow direction shall be marked on the pressure controller.

That's not really what you were talking about though.  I also couldn't find anything in the Building Code regarding marking the gas pipe flow direction.
