If  humidity rises the air temp difference across an evaporator  coil will decrease or increase. ?

Can av evaporator or A coil cause furnace overheating. ?

walker

the temp drop would decrease as it needs to pull out more humidity out of the air rather than pull the temp down.  its going to absorb more latent heat as opposed to sensible heat.

also yes a clogged acoil can cause the furnace to overheat as it will restrict the air flow through the system.
