I have a 1997 Lifebreath 155Max with a 20/40/60 wall mounted timer wired to the control pad on the side of the unit. The unit when plugged in runs continuously on low speed and will go to high speed when the wall timer is engaged. I can cycle through fan speeds on the pad mounted on the side of the unit with each flashing yellow for about 5 seconds before turning solid yellow. After going through all the fan speeds the unit will go into, my understanding, standby mode indicated by a green flashing light (see attached photo). In standby the unit is off until the timer is engaged then will go into high speed. The questions I have are: (1) is the flashing green light indicating standby mode, (2) is it ok to leave it in standby mode until engaged by the timer, (3) is there a way to disengage the fan so that it is not running continuously without having it in standby mode and only run when using the timer and (4) can a 99-BC04 control unit be connected (same 3 wire low voltage wire)to this older unit. I have spent considerable time on the internet and cannot find any good resources. I have the owners manual but doesn't describe the wiring well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 99-BC04155Max 1997 photo.pdf .
