Just thought Id say hey to everyone here and introduce myself (and ask a question too!)

I have worked with my father for the past few years, I currently have my G2 and finished school for electronics.  I know enough to keep up in the field alright, however, I really want to keep learning and fine tuning my training.  My question is:  What do you older and more trained techs recommend for reading material, websites, courses, etc?  I am a quick learner and am really wanting to widen my understanding and practices of things I may not get to do everyday.  Basics, Intermediate and Advanced suggestions are welcome of course and thank you in advance .

What type of work do you prefer? Residential, commercial, industrial? With the licence you have you can only work on heating.
If you prefer residential you should consider the 313D a/c licence either through apprenticeship or challenge the exam.
If you prefer commercial, industrial, you should look at getting your G1 as well as 313A refrigeration licence.
Getting either refrig licence will increase your knowledge in the industry and help to keep you working year round

Currently doing a mix of both, I am looking into G1 and 313A.  I work year round as my father has his G1 and aircon license and I work with him in the summers aswell.  I plan to challenge the exam this spring.  I do plan to increase my knowledge and get the licenses, which is why I was asking if any of the guys here used or have found really good material, especially if they found it particularly helpful.

Sorry if my original post was not clear, but I plan to eventually focus more on comm/indus , however right now I am doing a mix of both.

Modern R&AC is probably one of the better textbooks, Refrig and AC Technology is also good, but I find all of them a bit outdated. Even the new versions. My son is in trade school and they had to buy a new textbook, Electricity for Heating, Refrig & AC, and it looks quite good. It was just released within the last few weeks.
