I have a Lifebreath hrv, and the digital controller is displaying an icon that isn't shown anywhere in the manual, and my searches online haven't had any success. It's on the right side of the screen. A rectangle with three wavy arrows pointing up. I've seen it displayed many times, but had no success figuring out what it means. Also, the rh that's showing for my home has been stuck at "1" for a few months now. However, I know that my home does have humidity given my breathing, not feeling dry, and some condensation on the lower part of the windows. In the past, it used to hover around whatever set point I had chosen. Wondering if there is a problem with this controller and if I need a new one, or is it something to do with the hrv itself?
Any help with these issues is extremely welcomed. Thanks.

I have never seen that symbol on that control but it looks like a rear window defrost symbol.  I wonder if the HRV is in deforst mode, or the control thinks it is.  Have you made sure the motorized damper inside the HRV still works?

It looks like you have it set to 30% which is low.  Can you press the water drop symbol and increase the humidity to 40%?  Have you tried using the reset button?

It's possible there's a problem with the main control and it would have to be replaced.

It's possible it may be a defrost mode. I had that thought as well. I will definitely check the damper.

I've had the humidity set at 55, 50, 45, 40, and 38. Now down to 30. I'm trying to decrease the amount of humidity I'm creating on my windows. Having at different set
Points hasn't changed the larger number.

When you say main control, are you referring to this digital controller? Or something at the hrv unit itself?

Just saw this symbol on my controller as well.
User manual (online PDF) hasn't been updated to explain it.

Defrost mode being active would make sense given it's winter time and temperatures are way below freezing point.

Unit is pretty much brand new (installed in early October 2021) so I doubt there's an issue with it.

Has anyone been able to confirm that it is indeed the defrost symbol?

Thanks in advance
