Has there any general guidelines regarding the co reading in the direct vent fireplace .some says should be around 200 ppm in the vent outside.which guidelines you guys follow?
What about the furnaces and water heaters etc?

I have been on a call with the TSSA and they weren't concerned with a direct vent fireplace that had over 400PPM in the vent.

The TSSA have only released a couple of documents concerning CO that I'm aware of.

Thx for the input.i think the install pattern of the log affects the output of co reading in the vent greatly too.But shouldn't be allowed any ambient co.
