Hi everyone,I have a customer asking to have his pool house conditioned through out the year. I first suggested a dual zone split system heat pump. Then he said he also has a gas line running to it and wants to know if have a gas heater is better in the long run. I'm worried about two things:
1) If I go with a heat pump he'll have severe humidity issues where it won't manage to cool and dehumidify at the same time and maintain a steady temp.
2) If we go with gas heating then we will have an issue with corrosive environment to the heat exchanger and can get it killed in no time. The only gas heat option I can think of is high intensity radiant tube that doesn't require an exhaust vent. ?

Any suggestions ?

There are specific units (Dryotron) made for pool house conditioning. With these you actually get water heating as part of the package, as well as dehumidification.
