I am currently a 5th year electrical apprentice. I am a month away from writing my test. After I'm licensed how hard would it be to find a company that does mechanical and electrical. That would offer me a apprenticeship? I am also 24 years old. I live in Canada in Ontario. I

Are you talking about completely switching fields after you're done getting your electrical license? I think it would be tough since most HVAC companies don't give out apprenticeships that easily until they know you're competent and want to stick around for the long haul. The fact you're about to be fully licensed and want to jump ship doesn't sit well with many employers. But maybe I'm reading this wrong and you're looking to do more than just electrical? If that's the case, you can attend schools to obtain a G3 and a G2 license to work on gas equipment without any apprenticeship. It also gets your foot in the door to work for hvac companies. Until you get those licenses, most hvac companies wouldn't bother offering the sheet metal or refrigeration a/c apprenticeships.

I'm going to finish my apprenticeship for electrical get my license. Then I want to go obtain my refrig ticket. Either a residential one or the commercial one. I do plan getting my gas ticket before I apply for companies. My question is do you think if I show up too a company with a ticket and a gas ticket. I shouldn't have a issue with getting that refrig apprenticeship. I plan only applying to company's that offer mechanical and electrical services. So they can use me as a electrician as well.

Lol, most mechanical businesses-such as mine - would rather have you join as an electrician rather than give you an apprentice position, unless they hire you with apprentice pay and use your electrical ticket most of the time. My advice , join a company that can obtain an ESA licence due to your employment

I would need a master for them to obtain a ESA license. And i definitely wouldn't let any company use my master unless I'm getting a percentage of profits for all electrical jobs. And I wouldn't be opposed to taking a pay cut for a year or two.
