I am having problems with my furnace, it turns on but it won't ignite. It has an electronic ignition, it is a gas furnace. The trouble code indicates the a limit switch is open. I tried jumping the limit switch and still no luck. I tested the motor, it spins freely. I am having trouble narrowing this down. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Is that a Coleman furnace?

If you are jumpering out the primary limit and certain it is closed, then you probably have a bad control board.  Double check all the low voltage safety switches just to be sure they are all closed.  Most will be automatic reset swicthes, but there may be a roll-out switch that would need to be manually reset.  In that case you may have an underlying problem.
