Centennial College is the remaining College in the GTA offering Day Release for Apprentices in the 313A Refrigeration Program.  Most Colleges only do block release where the apprentice goes for their educational term for six weeks.  This poses problems for both the employer and the apprentice as they are gone for the full time and can only get unemployment insurance.  Day release may be only one or two days per week, often one weekday and a Saturday.  This reduces the financial burden and also ensures that you are available to your employer during most week days.  If this program interests you, discuss this with your Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities advisor.
