Hi guys, I have a 313D license but I'm looking to write my 313A. Has anyone had experience with this process and what's involved? Can this be challenged or fast tracked based on my previous work experience?

Thanks

I believe it can be challenged provided that there is someone with a 313A who can say you've got 4500 hours of experience in refrigeration in addition to the already 4500 hours you've gotten as a 313D. They'll want to see that you do have a minimum 9000 hours total... If you're confident you've got all the knowledge and really know what you're doing, then try challenging. If you're even a tad rusty, you might want to do a course and the remaining apprenticeship. With the 313D, you'd be a 3rd year apprentice or something like that.
