HVAC Technician Job Summary

We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated Lead HVAC Technician to join our growing staff. The individual in this role will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and fixing our customers’ heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Candidates should have extensive experience handling, installing, and fixing HVAC equipment, and be comfortable working with little to no supervision. As a Lead technician with Accessible Heating And Cooling you are provided a company cell phone, vehicle & tools to complete your calls. Pay will depend on experience

HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
Travel to residential homes on a daily basis as scheduled
Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
Install HWT, tankless and humidifiers
Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
Conduct performance tests
Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues
Repair damaged HVAC systems
Recommend repair work that should be done
Keep detailed records of customer appointments and payment transactions including invoices
Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources
Conduct routine inspections of company vehicle and tools

Qualifications:
Valid G Drivers License Required
Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required
Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school required
Must hold current HVAC technician license
G2 Gas License
313D License
OBT2 License an asset
Previous on the job training
Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand
Critical-thinker, problem-solver
Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations
Must be able to work with no supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
