Suction line trap

I am installing a couple 5 ton air conditioners and am a bit unsure about the inverted suction line trap in this situation. My evap coils will be approximately 20 feet above the condensers so my line sets will run up the exterior walls and into the attic through the attic and then back down 4'into the mezzanine to the evaporators. So since I am dropping back down 4 feet from my highest point and into the evaporators is a inverted trap necessary? Thank you in advanced!!
