DX-Pl02 with a lifebreath 155 Max (first generation...)

Hi,

I want to replace my old 99-250 (4-wires) controller by the new one DX-Pl02 (3-wires).

This is possible the color coding seem R-G-Y the 99-250 have R-G-Y and a Black one...

What the black one do exactly? I can just leave it unplug?

My lifebreath is a 155 Max I assume is a first generation because the wires layout is not the same.

You should be safe eliminating the black wire.  The old control needed it for a dehumidistat option that is now built into your new control.
