retro fitting old heater

recently i bought a goodman HKSC15XB electric heat kit and retro fit it into my heater enclosure. that was the easy part, now i need help with how to control it.
should i use a transformer for the thermostat and a sequencer? if this is the way to go what sequencer would i need and how would i wire it up?
or is there a control board that would take the place of those and be easier to install and use

I believe the sequencer should already be one of the components that came built on with the heater. What did you retrofit this heater into? You will have had to make sure that the ductwork was choked off or tapered with 100% of all air flow passing through the narrow section of the heater assembly as the higher velocity air is required to keep the heaters from overheating when in use. On the air handler systems these were meant to be installed in, you would see they squeeze into a small opening not long after the blower to provide very high velocity air.
Depending on what you're hooking this up to, you shouldn't need an additional transformer. The VA should be fine, but this is more of a guess without knowing more information about what you retrofitted this into and what the demands are for relays and sequencers.
