Just got a red tag code 837 (B) because my 2 outdoor furnace vents are within 3 feet for my dryer vent from an Enercare technician. They have been doing my furnace maintenance for the last 15 years and surprisingly last week the technician said that it wasn't code. I asked that this is probably grandfathered because it passed every year and all the houses nearby have the same setup. He answered that this is the rule and even wrote an estimate on the red tag for the price of moving the pipes. Can someone please send me the correct info with the documentation so that I may call Enercare and tell them this info. Thank you

lol this reminds of similar companies going to peoples houses and infracting them for ABS piping on gas appliance
