hello everybody,my name is Adolfo, i live in Toronto east side i just finish my HVAC course on April 2014, i got a G2 license on December i did the test on November, and i been looking for a job but it seems that every single job available is only for people with 2 years of more of experience, does anybody hires new people? come on how i'm supposed to get experience if nobody gives me a chance, im sure that everybody here started from the same point, even the people who hires those experience technicians only, well at least those who doesn't know anybody in the field, so if any body has any tips i will be really grateful to read them, also if anybody needs some help well i will be glad to do it too, thanks everybody

First tip is don't think your too good for an entry level job right away, sure you have your licence and some knowledge but until you've been in the field your green. There will be people looking for helpers apply to those jobs and get in and some experience under your belt.

If you're expecting anything more than 15$ an hour, then start looking for another trade. Apply as a helper. It's your only way into the trade.

I got hired right out of school at a job fair, there's different ways in to the field.  A strong resume in other areas also helps.

Did you do any work on a co-op?  Any field experience at all?
