Fireplace Problem

I've never worked on a Fireplace but a friend of mine asked me to look at his as all the pinholes are not lighting up and he's not sure why some are and some aren't (Picture attached). He cleaned them and still nothing. Before I head out there to take a look at it, is this common? and does it have a common fix? If not any ideas as to what will cause this and how to fix it?

I don't think this is the problem but it would be worth checking the serial number for the recall.

There must be a blockage if part of the burner is not lighting, or maybe a gas pressure problem.

I had one like that last week.Bought a can of compressed air (used to clean computer keyboards).Worked like a charm for me.

I checked the serial number but it wasn't included in the recall it starts with a 13. I'll check the gas pressure and look for blockages.
