Hello, I am a relatively new into hvac field, 3-4 months about 1 semester through the course. With the current state of this world my course theory courses are all done via online. Online classes have been and still are my biggest weakness as I cannot focus due to a learning disability I have and it does not help that my professors who are 50+ of age do not know how to operate a computer let alone turn on their own mic. My main concern is I want to self practice for my G3 practical exam rather than spend time in class when I most certainty fails. What I want to know is what are the best study guides, practice exams, materials, books , and topics I should primary focus on while self studying. I asked a friend at work whos already done their G3 ( note i work at a retail store at the hvac section) he told my focus on study and what is on the G3 will be: WHMIS, SAFTEY, ELECTRICAL, ELETRCIAL GAUGES, LMR, METERS, PSI REGULATOR METERS.
I know this is little of what is actually on the exam after scrolling through this forum. My current plan is to buy CSA modules 1-9, electrical book, is there anything else I should purchase or be aware of?

My son also has a learning disability, so I do feel for you. We had a private tutor, straight from the HVAC industry, locally but it does cost money. We can discuss more privately if you like. My son also suffered from the on-line course at Hi Mark, it wasn't the forum he wanted, as he also does better learning in person. The course finished last year, but he's still trying to pass the G3 exam.
